  1. That’s nice but he isn’t a FA anymore and the Bengals don’t acquire players in trades.
[The last time the Bengals made an in-season trade to acquire a player later than one week into the season was 1972. It was Nov. 1, 1972](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjixIT5wJKCAxVPkWoFHV5VBesQFnoECA0QAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.profootballnetwork.com%2Fnfl-trade-deadline-why-the-bengals-are-unlikely-to-end-their-five-decade-snooze%2F&usg=AOvVaw2qE7DuEC5CCTbqxBmZP_L-&opi=89978449)

  2. I’m sure he would but the bag takes priority and you can’t blame him for that. Mom just wants to see him win lol

  3. He fit in really well here and Carolina would have to pay/already paid a portion of the contract. I forget exactly what happens with the $$$ in a mid season trades, but he already got the signing bonus so that’s not included

  4. He could have stayed and instead chose not to. Same deal with Perine turning down a similar deal to go to Denver. If these guys really wanted to be here they would have stayed.
