My boyfriend and I were living in Reno Nevada last year-although I’m from Arizona and grew up a dbacks fan! With both of us being baseball fans we went to a few Reno Aces games. I remember my boyfriend telling me that there were a couple young bright stars we were watching then and to “give it a couple of years and you’ll see.” I rolled my eyes and said, “yeah okay whatever.”
Little did I know… that just within a year, these players we saw then would be key in bringing the dbacks to the World Series. They’ve done the unthinkable and have inspired so many people!! What a season!! ⚾️❤️⚾️

I definitely would have highlighted Tommy Henry, too. He was trending towards a breakthrough season like Pfaadt has had. I’d wager, given that he’s healthy, that the #4 spot in the rotation is his to lose next spring training. Pfaadt has earned his place.
