Well, there it is. That ref should lose their job.
Dude should rightfully be pissed. Took his points off the board and forced him to attempt a career long field goal that drops his completion % on a play that should have had a jags penalty.
Obviously the team has to play well enough to not let the refs beat you, but when they’re taking away points and ignoring blatant penalties it’s hard to get anything going.
This is absolutely egregious

So the offsides happened because the Jags player was and the ref decided we were because of it?
The only thing I can come up with is that both teams have black helmets. Absolutely fucking horrible call but not why they lost. Boz should still be perfect. Offense fucking sucks.

When will these refs be held accountable? Are they drug tested?

Boswell is, by all accounts, *very* easygoing and soft-spoken. This, as well as his on-field reaction, speak volumes about the stupidity of that call.
How can the line judge see the RG right there and not #25… dude is literally a foot ahead of everyone on the line.. also if we’re this worried about the LOS I would like to start seeing it called on the RTs that line up a yard behind the LOS to combat TJs speed of the edge

The official had to lean over to see past the defensive ends helmet which changed her angle and made it look like our guard was lined up offside
Look, I get it was a tough game from the refs, but this doesn’t really prove anything. The angle is off and the line is clearly not straight. If you just turn this a few degrees to straighten up the line in pic #2, the Ravens defender is then onside and it looks like Seumalo is either offside or close to it.
I have ADD about formations. One of the deplorable changes under Roger Goodell has been the absolute abandonment of the integrity of formations. Guys line up offsides or illegally all the time. Illegal shifts, you name it.
The calls seem to come out at opportune times for one team or the other. Ask the Chiefs and Dee Ford about it.
Stop. At the end of the day this is just a garbage offense that is a part of the team we love. There is no officiating conspiracy. No player conspiracy. No NFL conspiracy. Nothing. We, as a fan base, look foolish spouting this nonsense. They are simply a team that is half complete.
The end of the first half was atrocious
That field goal mattered a lot and they got fucked by the officials.
Give these refs a break…
Leading up to this play, there was 10 second runoff because the refs messed up.
There was an injury to the steelers QB because of body weight and the refs messed up.
The steelers had to lose their last timeout of the half because the refs messed up.
Boswell nailed a field goal and the refs messed up.
The steelers are not good but I have never seen a more obvious situation that required obvious blasting of referees with empty plastic cups in my life.
