Cumulative PFF Grades, Post Week 8

  1. My notes:

    – Shaq’s grade continuous to climb. That’s likely because he’s actually very solid in pass defense, and PFF cares a lot about that for linebackers

    – Tony Brown… oof. And here I thought we couldn’t get worse than Baker Jr.

    – Downs is a certified stud and I think he’ll eventually become our WR1

    – Ogletree is actually very solid. I thought early on he was just having a fluke game or two, but he’s been sustaining his level of play. Hugely promising

    – The line is fine, minus Freeland. Hope we get Smith back soon

    – Dayo is looking like a bad miss, but Ebukam is looking like a huge signing

As always, let me know who else you want to see

  2. What does PFF not like about Zaire? And Shaqs rating is climbing it seems even though I don’t see it on the field.

Also can you post EJ Speed?

  3. The silver lining right now is how well the youngest guys are doing. Downs and Raimann specifically. Also, very happy we have Samson for another two years.

  4. Hope we keep Reggie at WR coach. He clearly knows his craft, Pitt on pace for his best season yet, Downs 3rd in rookie receiving after being the 12th WR picked.

  5. What do we do about Pittman, Blackmon and Kwity.

If we pay Pittman, we won’t have a lot of money for the future. Wonder if he takes around 21-23 million.

  6. 1. Can we see Rodney Thomas, Jaylon Jones, and Pierce?

    2. Keep in mind, Zaire was injured almost the whole game and still got a 60+ score.

    3. Freeland is a rookie who is performing slightly below average. Raimann was bad his first year too, but he’s good now. Freeland could be a good back up at worst next year at Tackle, if he develops.

  7. Ryan Kelly has been having a hell of a year, he’s consistently in the top of these scores. Glad he’s bouncing back!

  8. So, I want to know why people are all dangling from Odeyingbo’s jewels if Kwitty is going to grade better than he was. I don’t believe anyone knows what they’re saying.
