    My limited understanding is that we’d receive a 3rd anyway if we lost Chase via free agency. This is only a couple slots above that. In other words, it’s a bag of chips to go with the ham sandwich we already had.

  12. Addition by subtraction seems like a stretch and I doubt they said that exactly. Unless JDR is blasting him for his bad defense, which I could honestly see happening. A borderline 4th is a slight win since if Young walked we would have only gotten a comp pick in 2025, and probably not a third either, but we couldn’t get a mid-round 3rd?

  13. I’ll think about chase’s time here like lavar Arrington’s. Loved watching them play. So much excitement and promise. Gave us some amazing moments but will end up as footnotes in the franchise somehow. Bummer. Wish him the best. He and Bosa might win a ring or two together.

  18. Well, with the five picks in the first three rounds, whoever the new GM is, I’m hoping it goes OT, TE, OG, LB, and CB. The rest can be filled in via free agency and that $90 surplus they’re sitting on.
