Thrilled about my recent Washington jersey purchase!!

I learned a long long time ago not to buy jerseys. Unfortunately it’s a business and players hardly ever stay with the team that drafted them for their career. Also sometimes your favorite player gets murdered. That was my last jersey. I will never buy one again

Tbh you’re a fool for getting that… he was rumored to potentially get traded before the season starts lol
If you bought from fanatics, I believe they have a jersey assurance situation. If player is cut or traded within a certain amount of time after purchase they will replace with another player
If you’re not buying legends jerseys these are just the risks.
Monk, Green, Riggins, either Taylor, Moss, Cooley, Haynesworth, Theismann – you know the safe bets.
At least you got it on discount.
I have a WFT Chase Young jersey my ex GF got me couole years ago and its still in the plastic. I knew this would happen :/

Are these going on deep discounted sale like the RG3 authentics a few years back? I’m still kicking myself for not getting a white one. I think they were on sale for like $40.
😂 there is a reason these jerseys have been on sale for like 3 years straight. Chase was doomed here after his rookie year. At least we got something back for him. Can’t say the same your your jersey though…
I see zero problem with wearing a traded player’s jersey. You’re still repping the team and if you liked him when he was here, continue to rep him too. Works out perfect.

I have to take the blame here…every time I buy a jersey the player gets hurt/traded/fizzles out… I’m sorry Washington fans it’s all my fault
Reason I bought Sean Taylor this year
Eh I wouldn’t beat yourself up. Every player that plays here is temporary. At one point this jersey represented A LOT of hope. Enjoy it or return it if you can.

Just do what I started doing and duct taping the names with whoever the current player is.
Then when the name changes again, duct tape that. When you go to games, both home and away, people buy you beers. Bars? The same. You can now recycle all the sweet ass gear you had when they were the Washington Previous Names.
In the words of Littlefinger, “let me give you some advice b*stard. Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor. And it can never be used to hurt you.”
I have a McNabb jersey someone gifted me as a joke the year after Washington traded for him and saw an opportunity. Still rocking that terd, now it’s just a Howell jersey.
Embrace the apathy and make Sundays enjoyable again.

This is why I don’t buy jerseys anymore. My Darrell Green from 1998 is still going strong. 5 or 6 others sitting in the back of the closet never to be worn again.
