Lakers’ Offense

I am a simple fan and am not a film pro but is it just me or does the Lakers’ offense seems stagnant? It seems like their fourth quarter sets relied on having Lebron do some one on one moves with everyone standing around and watching. Why do all our opponents so far seem to run actual offensive plays while the Lakers just do a lot of standing around?

  1. Even Stu called it out yesterday. They haven’t been playing well offensively. Lots of standing around bricking 3s.

  2. New system and new rotation. Lots of guys still finding their spots. Austin has been particularly terrible so far and that’s set the offense back since he’s such an important factor.

  3. Man the offense was so good in the preseason.. they need to actually run some actions/sets.

  4. If ham can’t even get his rotations set what makes you think we can actually run an offense?

  5. We’ve been running oodles of off ball and on ball screens-the offense has been run, but open shots aren’t falling. For whatever fucking reason.

  6. Its apparently to anyone actually watching the games that the offense is stagnant.

Its just isos and p&r without any ball or player movement.

Doesn’t help that the coach doesn’t know how to put the correct players in the game.
