  1. I don’t see why the bulls would do this. Last trade deadline there were rumors that Zach could go to NYK for 3 FRP + some young guys. Seems like his value should be similar to that right now

  2. > However, it’s unclear if all the tradeable pieces from the Sixers draft chest will be enough value to acquire both players.

GTFO with that nonsense. It’s pretty damn clear to me that they don’t have the draft assets, especially since the Bulls would have to take back a bunch of salary to make the deal work. If the Bulls are going to completely tank on the season and reset they should be doing it for young players + tons of draft picks, not a bunch of middling players like Nic Batum.

The only way I see that deal working is if they give back Maxey.

  3. Need about 5 FRPs and 2 swaps, with Tobias and filler to make this happen?

These will likely all be late, un-guaranteed picks.

Mid-range heavy iso scorers, soft rebounders aren’t Morey’s style. I think he’d be more interested in OG, or keeping Reed/Melton/etc. as role-players. Letting Maxey retain his high usage (which seems to be working out for them).

  4. Is it time to start to think of life beyond Zach and DeRozan? I think so. I love these 2 individually, but I think it’s time to make changes, both with players and coaches (*clears throat* Billy Donovan).
