Anyone know if WEEI is carrying it on the radio?
Sam Kennedy trying to explain why Breslow was chosen without mentioning that no one else wanted the job.
“i don’t see financial resources as a limiting factor”
brother I have news for you
I was too busy getting emotional over “Now and Then”, how was it?
So was it an open secret around MLB that Breslow was getting the job, since Gammons had the scoop? Does that add to reasons so many people had their families on their mind?
Skelator showed up 20 mins late. The days of Red Sox trophies are ova until he sells.

> Quality meaning a team that can win the AL East and contend for a World Series title
This is a decent definition but I wish we heard a bolder vision from him. We’ve had four years of lukewarm, bring a little competitive fire.
This is sports. This is the entertainment business. It’s not like anyone can last long in this job, why not fucking go for it while you’re here?
> Ultimately, the realization there was that the Cubs had an organization that was maybe lacking in the pure stuff, the pure quality of pitchers that could contribute to major-league success. So we worked backwards from understand what a major-league pitching contributor looks like in each of those corresponding minor-league levels knowing that the goal anywhere is not to build the most competitive minor-league team, it’s to build major-league value and major-league contributors.
I’m worried this guy is just Bloom but he focuses on pitchers instead of position players. He was so vague when he talked about CBO level stuff like winning championships, acquiring major free agents, and hiring a GM and was so detailed when he talked about his old job of developing a pitching pipeline.
I hope he understands he needs to delegate the comfortable task of minor league pitching staff development and focus on all this new stuff he’s never done before.
Here we go again.
It’s another flavor of Bloom.
He sounds like a clueless and soulless corporate manager.
>Tom Werner vows Red Sox will go “full throttle” in effort to improve team
Well, Tom Werner is setting some expectations in my household.
