After last night Svi’s missed dunk comments you guys got me thinking, whose the best Celtics in game dunker ever??

Honorable mentions: KG got some posters but not really a flashy dunker or anything. Rondo got some sneaky dunks too.

– Ricky Davis: Got some nice flashy dunks and was in the dunk contest as well.
– Paul Pierce: Had sneaky hops and we know he has put a lot of guys on a poster.
– Tony Allen: TA had some nice dunks especially when he got PT before the championship run. Even after he had some alley oops and posters.
– Gerald Green: Was here for a few season in his prime but was a high flyer.
– Jeff Green: Uncle Jeff! He has a lot of posters during his time in Boston.
– Jaylen Brown: This dude has had some of the nastiest dunks throughout the league. He has a list of body bags.

  1. I would say Jeff Green…he was ferocious before his health complications. Jeff would dunk on the best of them. Gerald a close runner up, but he was more stylish.

  2. I mean Nique also had a spell on the Celtics in the 90s

Idk how much dunking he was doing by then tho

  3. Jaylen Brown has an impressive resume of people he’s dunked on. Gerald Green out of everyone was probably the most athletic, vertical hops dunker of the bunch. Although Dee Brown had a real nice vertical too. I guess it depends on what you are looking for.

  4. Apart from Vince’s Olympic dunk, Gerald’s got the greatest in-game dunk of all-time, so it has to be him

  5. It’s amazing how many people named Green or Brown have been great athletic doinkers, on the Celtics

  6. It’s either Gerald Green or Jaylen. Ricky Davis would pull some stuff out but he really wasn’t a good player so the big ones just ended up on wide open breaks. Gerald Green had a fucking jetpack and would regularly bust out insane dunks when he was in, but he could never land significant minutes. Jaylen absolutely posterizes people and we get to see it pretty often because he’s always on the court.

  7. Man Ricky Davis was one of my favorite players while he was here. Obviously PP34 was and is my all time favorite but Ricky was fun to watch during the early 2000s. It was weird how he was here and then gone and then back again over the course of 3 seasons though. Shout out to Gerald Green as well!

  8. I feel like Jeff Green has sneakily put together the best resume of posters in the NBA both before and after his Celtics tenure
