2003 AFC Championship game (Ty Law game) was a top 3 Peyton Manning playoff loss, probably his worst at the time. He came back with a vengeance in 2004 and had an absurd stable of weapons at their career peaks: Edge, Wayne, Harrison, and Stokley. Plus the combo of Marcus Pollard and Dallas Clark (who we hadn’t even figured out how to use yet) at TE, it was absurd.
There’s arguments to be made for best offense of all time between the 04 Colts, 07 Pats, and 13 Broncos.
I still think this is the greatest single regular season a QB has ever had. Manning set the single-season record (which still stands) for adjusted net yards per attempt. He also led the league and posted the highest single-season TD% (which still stands) in the modern era.
