  1. I was harsh towards Hurtt last season. It felt like he was over his head. Usually I see hiring from within as a team had no better options, but he really is improving and getting better players to go with that. Pete letting Clint completely overhaul the defensive scheme that has been run here for the last decade showed a tremendous amount of faith in him, and it feels like the beginning of something special.

    Pete also isn’t the stubborn old dog we thought he was with Russ. We are not a run first team anymore, they go for it more on 4th down than they used to, Defense is a 3-4 that runs heavy nickel and 3 safeties. I love he was willing to evolve. Shit, I wish we would Run more now. Would never say that 5 years ago

  2. I loved the part where they talked about impact on family – the coaches work just as hard as the players, and have to do it for most of their working lives, most of them never see the big bucks as a coordinator or head coach. Props to them
