Do people genuinely think our logo is bad and needs to be replaced?

2. I think it’s fine but it’s definitely run it’s course. Reminds me way too much of the Scola era. I’m ready for a full blown re-brand. New logo, uniforms. We just really need some new life and Ime + the direction we seem to be heading in can really be supplemented by a new identity in that regard.

4. I’ve always liked it. It’s clean, recognizable, and not cluttered like so many NBA logos. I’ve never seen a fan-made replacement logo that I liked.

5. Logo isn’t that bad but our uniforms are so dull

6. I wasn’t the biggest fan of it at first but it grew on me. It’s the only logo that isn’t large/circular or super colorful. And don’t get me wrong I LOVED the “cartoon-ey” logos of the 80s and 90s but I like the fact that this logo is unique with its simplicity.

7. I’d embrace a throwback rebrand like the Astros did a decade ago. It worked for them 🏆🏆

8. Ketchup and mustard and even the pinstripes were leagues better

9. Don’t think it’s bad, but I wouldn’t mind a rebranding. It’s the start of a new era and we’ve had this logo for so long.

17. Hate it. Said it in the other thread, Chinese take out menu font. Fine for the Yao era but it’s to move on.

    I don’t agree with OP’s assessment, but even if I did “top 15” is not good. That’s the damn literal definition of mid.

18. As someone who’s not a Rockets fan, I’ve always thought this is one of the most clever and cool logos in the league. That being said, idk many people know/see the rocket taking off which may make it lose some luster.

19. Always hated it, looks like a middle school doodle. Looks terrible on a hat or any other merch.

    The name rockets has so much potential and all we have is a dripping blood R

27. Yeah it’s not great. Our merch in general feels sub-standard. I’d love to rep more stuff but nothing really catches the eye. A better logo would help.

    I understand what it means but I think this concept is extremely simple / poor.

    If you gave some basic instructions (name, sport, city etc) to a bunch of inexperienced designers they would all come up with something similar.

    I loved the Astronaut dunking, we should rebrand towards that direction imo.

    Yes u can argue its ranked 13-18, but we easily have top 3 name in the league. Not only is the name good, but its genuine since Houston is known for being the Space City.
