  2. My main concern with Fox being out is how the PP1 will look. It was clicking and a big reason why was because of him. Hope they can adjust quickly.

  3. I hope Chytil isn’t out too long. But I am ok with this kind of adversity this early in the season where we can afford to drop a couple points

    As crazy as this may be but if jones is playing, he should be on PP1, he is our best puck moving dman

  5. The amount of brain cells i have lost reading other teams fans “takes” on aho/fox is way too high.

    Every single one of these smooth brains ended their statements with “AnD tHiS iS tHe TeAm ThAt EmPlOyS cApTaIn TrOuBa”

    This sport would become softer than soccer/nba if these fans had any sort of say in the sport. I have yet to see a truly dirty hit by trouba. In real time it looks bad sometimes but you see the slow-mo and every hit by him is calculated or the other teams player skating with his head facing his feet and puck. Idk how its hard to comprehend big hits =/= always dirty

  7. Goodrow out too today. His son is being born! Curious how this lineup is gonna look. I guess I’d do:

    10-93-24
    20-16-13
    50-22-17
    71-12-26

    I think Brodz and Cuylle would be good together. Shoot first guys, lots of energy, chemistry from Hartford.

    I doubt Lav will break up that first line, but Kreids and Tro have an undeniable chemistry that I’d take over Panarin and Tro.

  9. Welp. Good thing we’ve banked a bunch of points early on before these injuries happened.

  10. Time to test our depth, boys. Hot take: This is still a pretty damn good team on paper even with the injuries

  12. Losing Chytil hurts, but that’s the benefit of having a luxury 3C in Trocheck. He slots in to the second line just fine. Yeah, it hamstrings the rest of our bottom 6 a bit. Our 3rd line is now a rookie, an over paid 4th liner, and an over the hill glacier. Not ideal, but they should be physical.

    The defense faces a larger challenge, but the real pain will be felt on the power play. Fox is probably the largest factor in it, but I expect Gustavsson to be the D man while Panarin effectively QBs.

    Do we pair Jones with Lindgren, or move Gustavsson into Fox’s spot and try Schneider Jones again? Schneider is slumping and that could spell disaster

  13. Congrats to Goody!

    Yeah we’ve got injuries, but we’re on a hot streak and it’s a good time in the season to check how the team steps up and adjusts.
