It’s hard to beat the same team twice in a row in the NBA, especially if they are desperate for a win. That being said, it would be hilarious if the grizzlies leave Portland down 0-7.

Man…how Cronin manage to flip Nurk for DA . That’s some front office wizardry right there. This dude looks like a DPOY candidate out there. Major impact
Damn dude, this is just fun af to watch. Win or lose
I’ve been hugely critical of Chauncey but I have to give him props for closing with Sharpe in OT – it would be really easy for him to have him stand in the corner while Grant or Brogdon ISO over and over (especially after sharpe turned the ball over on the 1st possession of OT) but we didn’t see that.
Im also cautiously optimistic on the defense. It helps that our last 3 opponents are completely and utterly incapable of spacing the floor and shot horribly from 3, but you only can play the teams in front of you and we’ve looked good on defense. We’ll see what happens when we play a team with shooters, but there’s no denying the defense has looked good the last few games.
I also think it helps that Ant and Scoot are out so Chauncey’s switching all the guard/guard and guard/forward screens can work because there’s no real easy mismatch hunting like we’ve seen the past few years – be curious to see what the defense looks like when they come back.
