  1. Per usual it’s a click-baity headline. He wasn’t pissed off at the team. He simply recognized his shortcomings and understands that level of play isn’t good enough. Turn that anger into hard work!

  2. I appreciate him being pissed off at himself for his bad play. It doesn’t mean anything though if it continues being a trend for him.

  3. The fact is the Steelers brought this on themselves. Very rarely do you see receivers open like you do on other teams, that are usually schemed open through motion and other creative ways.

Every QB under Canada has struggled and been bottom tier. Ben, Mitch, and Kenny. People here love to argue that Ben had some left in the tank, if that’s true then why was he ranked as a bottom 5 QB in the league in 2021? So is it part scheme as well, I won’t argue that he missed throws on Thursday and that needs cleaned up. But the Steelers keeping Canada makes it so we really don’t know with 100% certainty if it’s all him

  4. Everyone sits here and expects a QB who just played his 20th game to play like a top 10 QB, because we were spoiled with 7. I’m not even a Pickett fan but yinz need to be patient. He’s showing flashes of what we need, and showing flashes of a young QB. I’m willing to wait until his contract is done to see what he does.

  5. Hope he turns his anger into focus. His 4Q discipline is outstanding. I want to see him locked in from the opening snap. He seemed less confident after the opening drive td somehow. I hope he puts it all together. I really don’t wanna add his jersey to my waste of money selection. That’s big enough already.

  6. I don’t think we move on from KP for another year or two. We’ll win enough games with enough cap to lock down our future stars on both sides of the ball while drafting stud centers and guards later in the 1st. By then he’ll either improve drastically or we’ll suck enough to trade up in a good QB draft to set the next one up for immediate success. Kenny got drafted to a team with great skill players but no line to speak of.

  7. He was so angry he threw his remote at the TV while rewacthing the game.

He missed the TV by 5 yards.

  8. Honestly I’m starting to think Mason cole might be the biggest hinderance to this offense, more than Canada or pickett. Right now the middle of the line collapses way too quickly because coles awful. Kenny can’t even practice stepping up, it’s teaching him to abandon instead of doing so. It’s also putting way more pressure on him wheres he’s least adept at handling it. It’s like a vicious cycle. It’s a bummer he’s regressed so badly, I think if the coaches had known he would play this bad we would have had some better plan in place for center. Either way, we’re leaving literally hundreds of yards on the field solely because he’s instantly two yards in the backfield every passing down. Need an answer there before it shits too much on Kenny’s development.
