  1. The Schnieder problem is about to reach critical mass. He is an issue every single shift. I lost count of how many times Jones gave him a 2-foot pass, and he bobbled it on the boards and lost possession.

  2. I sure hope Mr. Othmann is ready for the NHL because that top line needs some major help and he is the only option we have. He might be up as soon as next month if it continues. Of course, only if he looks ready.

  3. Eh, a lot went wrong tonight but considering we had 4 regulars out of the lineup, I’ll take the point on the road and walk away.

  4. Waiting on that 40 year old virgin to come in a start dooming and pretending he knows more about goaltending than Benny Allaire.

  5. Take the point and go home. Going to need to do a lot better at full games even down guys. What a horrendous 45-50 mins

  6. I think they’re a little burnt out from all the crazy traveling the last 3 weeks. Apparently they make the schedule by having chimpanzees pull teams out of a hat.

  7. Honestly, at this point, fuck Zucc. He ruined Hank night and always plays 150% to beat us. Don’t care for him anymore.

  8. I’ll never not be annoyed after a loss, but it’s really pretty good we were able to pull a point (and nearly 2) from that game.

  9. Meh… we’ll take the point and move on. Still love this team, and were leading the metro with an overtime loss!

  10. Well…that was a game. Absolute domination for a period, and then a complete free fall for two. Not an ideal way to win against a team that are the second worst in their division.

Someone in the GDT mentioned that the multiple penalties took the wind out of their sails, and I’m inclined to agree. Discipline has been a rising concern of mine. Can’t be giving these teams the opportunities, even though the PK has been great thus far in the season.

Imma say it. Wild had a lucky night. We’re down like 3 players one of them being our Norris winner, and they won on the goofiest shot in the SO. I’ll take a point. Onto the next one.

    See ya Tuesday.

  11. – MN dominated after the 3-0 lead

    – Lucky to get a point out of this one

    – boring as fuck OT

    – regroup/rest before Tuesday

  12. The Wild really were very desperate for a win. They wanted it much more tonight after they woke up.

  13. So, where are the Schneider lovers from last year? Especially the ones that wanted him to replace Miller. What a terrible game by him tonight.

  14. Never mad at a loss as long as they give a big effort, and that big effort is the only reason we got a point. Hoping we have a lil more sauce in the tank without foxy and chytil than we showed tonight

  15. For such an incredible high at about 7 minutes into the game, then we just seemed to fall asleep until the end of the 3rd just long enough that we could tie it up. That shootout was just bad luck with a bad bounce and a lights out Fleury.

    But, considering the following:

    * No Fox, no Chytil, no Goody (say what you will), and no Igor
    * The umpteenth road game of the season
    * 4 unanswered goals against
    * A LOT of time on the penalty kill

There’s no reason to be too disappointed with getting a point out of this one. Last year’s team would have folded and lost it 5-3 in regulation, if not by an even worse margin.

The upsides: despite falling asleep for much of the game the team held it together and overall stepped up to the plate. Vesey got his first of the season (hopefully many more to come) and Panarin is still playing like a man possessed. 11 games with at least a point (including 5 multipoint games). Kreider continuing to score at an almost point per game pace. Still a lot of good to see and more to come. Plus, we have a 3 day break, a 3 game home stand against teams with worse records that us (and a chance to get revenge for tonight).

    79-2-1 is still a possibility.

  16. I was there live, so much fun. The loss was a bummer but seeing Zuccarello beat Johnathan quick in a shootout felt really good imo. Kinda like karmic justice for 2015 Stanley cup.

Also Minnesota is such a passionate crowd. Shame I couldn’t ride their energy when the Wild started coming back in the 2nd

  17. If I had to describe this game in one word, it’s a split between two of them; 1. Wild and Out of Control, 2nd. A Crazed Classic. But, this game was nothing but defensive break downs. Up 3-0 in the 1st period, (nice goals by Vesey, Bread, and Gus btw), Vesey’s goal got to the dirty area, a North/South Goal. But what really zapped the Rangers hot start was the lack of discipline. Couldn’t stay out of the box. BUT, I appreciate the PK’s performance tonight. However, against better teams(the Wild should be better imo) in the league, you can’t play like that AT AWLLL.

2nd Period was just pure nuts. The Wild controlled not only this period but as well as the 3rd. Coach Creed Bratton for the Wild must have ripped them a new one. And it worked. The Wild puck possession especially the 2min shift, surprised they didn’t score. But what really grinded my gears, was that penalty Mika took. HOW THE FUCK WAS THAT A TRIP ON FATSO MAROON?! WHAT DID HE HIT TO TAKE HIM DOWN?! HIS BIG MAC BURGERS?! Whatever, the zebras weren’t the reason why this team lost. The Rangers needed to keep going and not take their foot off the gas. I did like Kreids goal. Nice response. But at the end of the day, the game ended on a skills competition aka a shootout. Which is whatever. I’m not gonna complain any more.

Slight mini rant, but I did like the way this teamed played w/o Fox, Chytil, Igor, and Goodrow. Would they have made an impact? Yeah. But that’s not an excuse. No excuses

Winning streak is over, but, the team got a point. Deserved or not, they got it. Can’t blow leads like that. But, move on. Off till Tuesday. Onto the Wings.
