  1. Thanks for always playing hard, being a good dude, and winning us a playoff game DJ. Rest easy.

  2. Jones tearing his acl tripping over his TE while evading a menacing pass rush. Pretty much sums up his career with us.

  3. Every week I’ve thought “how could this season get any worse? It’s not even possible” and then every week it gets worse

  4. Remember when Eli didn’t miss a game in 17 years and everybody still called him bad? I member

  5. We’re officially tanking this season

It started out as a meme at first but we actually have a legit shot at Caleb Williams now

  6. Daniel Jones’s 2025 injury guarantees are going to be a big storyline all next year.

Will they give him the 2014 RG3 treatment next year?

  7. Feel so bad for him. He has successfully taken flack when the whole team around him has been a total shitshow for years. Nicely covered up as best as possible the ineptitude of the entire organisation. Hopefully it’s a wake up call.

  8. Well that’s it for the DJ era. Time to move on to the next one. I’m cool with either Caleb or Drake.

  9. I was one of DJs biggest supporters since day one, kid had the raw talent but we failed him miserably.

Never put anyone down, never complained, was always a team first guy.

However this season I started to see the other side of it, the “flashes” are drastically outweighed but the negative. I think I was just holding on to something in fear of what “could be”.

Thanks for the playoff win like others have said, thanks for the fun season last year, and thanks for giving us some fun runs and some fun laughs.

    RIP – Vanilla Vick

  10. It’s over for him in New York. Time to move on. Thank you for that playoff win against Minnesota. What a shame.

  11. I figured it was a torn ACL the second his knee gave out when he planted. You can walk on a torn ACL (like he did to the locker room) but lateral stability is gone.

  12. He’s done. Literally same thing as Kyler, he probably won’t be ready until week 10 next year . Welcome to NY caleb Williams .

  13. This feels like the end of the Daniel Jones era. This is why I don’t hate on guys getting their money when they can. One play can change everything.

  14. I went to his first start in Tampa and it was the best game I’ve ever been to, never been so fucking hyped up in my life. He never amounted to a star, but the Giants did him absolutely no favors. This most likely ends his Giants career, but I hope he has a very fulfilling life past this. He is a good dude who always represented the franchise extremely well.

  15. We have such a weird fan base. Caleb Williams does nothing for most people and we’re like the only fanbase who feels this way. I don’t understand the “Caleb Williams sucks” by the fanbase yet always more impressed y Daniel Jones for some reason.

  16. He seems like the kinda guy that’ll restructure for the betterment of the team, contract not body

  17. So terrible that it had to end this way. DJ got paid and he won’t have to worry about his future financially. This era of NYG football has been just utter garbage.

With that said, I cannot wait to move on from DJ, this era, etc. I can absolutely sit through another QB learning because that means there’s hope and a potential cousin towards a way forward.

  18. DJ worked his ass off always and despite the onslaught of negative criticism he always just tried to stay calm and lead his team. I respect the dude and he lead us to a playoff win. While his play regressed this year the O line just let him down a ton. Fucking horrible luck but onto the next QB.

  19. DJ is a human being so it sucks but the line doesn’t make him hold the ball too long while missing reads he does that.

  20. This franchise really failed him.

Hopefully he gets another chance somewhere else if our Management decides to get another QB

  21. I’m happy that Daniel Jones got paid in the off-season, and paid well considering all of the shit that this garbage organization put him through through his career here.

I haven’t seen a QB who’s been through the ringer like he has, be it through a ridiculously over-critical media or a team/coaching staff that has continuously failed him, all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, never uttering a word of complaint or grievance, keeping a squeaky clean image of a hard-worker and locker-room leader who gave it his all.

The only other bright spot other than Barkley over the past five years, who won us our first playoff game in years. I’ll never forget the Colts game last year on New Years, when he scored 4 TDs in a rout to send the Giants to the postseason for the first time since 2016.

And with this injury, this is likely it for him as a Giant, given our likely high draft pick enabling us to pick a QB in a heavy QB draft class.

Thank you for the memories, Danny Dimes.

  22. Jones deserved better. I’ll always be thankful for giving everything he could to this team. It’s hard to see it end like this. I hope he finds success wherever he ends up because he deserves it

  23. I think that brings a definitive end to the Jones era here (although he will probably be on the roster as a backup QB next season). The tank is 100% underway now, the question is do we take a QB like maye or address OL again???

  24. So a torn ACL with likely around 9 months of recovery puts Jones at say, August 2024 of being healthy.

There is absolutely no way if the Giants have a top 5 pick they are not taking a QB. Daboll/Schoen will be in their third year and will want their own QB. The better question, is what the hell do they do with a $40M Jones?

  25. The Daniel Jones Era is over.

At this point there isn’t anything to argue about regarding Daniel Jones.

He’s most likely played his last game as a Giant, and if not, he is a bridge QB *at best*.

He wasn’t the guy, and we absolutely should not have given him that contract. But injury is never the way I would have wanted him to go out. You never wish injury on anyone, even if you think they aren’t good enough. I hope he recovers well enough to get another shot…on another team.

It’s time to stop arguing about whose fault it is that Jones played poorly before he got hurt and start arguing about which 2024 QB the Giants should draft. Pick your sides and go to war. *grabs popcorn*

  26. Why is this sub constantly hunting for dirt on Black QBs

Caleb Williams is a fantastic prospect and Maye seems like a complete fucking idiot. Of course this sub loves him.
