NHL Awards Watch: Hughes brothers dominate ballots

Our 3 pillars (Petey, Quinn and Demko) are finally getting the recognition they deserve!
But as Tocchet likes to say: I hope they don’t read their press clippings. 👍

Art Ross: J. Hughes and Pettersson Tied.
Hart: Pettersson in Second and Quinn in 4th.
Norris: Hughes with 75% of the first place votes.
Vezina: Demko tied with Oettinger.
Selke: Pettersson in second by 1 vote to Staal. Also said if he doesn’t win Hart this would be de facto MVP like O’Rielly in 18/19.
Lady Byng: Pettersson
Jack Adams: Tochett a finalist.
Petey is a favourite/finalist for the Art Ross, Hart, Selke, and Lady Byng.
Could you imagine a season where he wins all four? Aqua is gonna have to sell his blueberry farm to pay for his next contract

Might as well merge the NHL award ceremony with the Canucks one and just invite the whole Hughes family
How can Pettersson be near or top of 4 major trophy categories, and have more team success than Jack Hughes, and Hughes takes MVP? I swear there is an unwritten rule that docks points if you’re a Canuck.
Love that the Canucks are getting their flowers but it’s so obvious these writers don’t watch the games. Miller should be getting way more attention than Petey for the Selke, and Hughes the Hart consideration over Petey. Don’t get me wrong, I love Petey and I have him for the Art Ross too but this article just further proves these are brand recognition awards more than anything.
