Yes, he needs to improve and I think he will. I’m not worried about him not starting as DJJ is a better defender and cutter and for his role should be fine with the starting unit with 15-20 mpg. Green is a better ball handler and passer and works better with lineups where Luka and Kai are staggering minutes.
I think he will get better at this from the article with screen navigation. I’m concerned about his handles and his decision towards jump passes when he is slashing through defenders. He is out of place and also a bit passive for my liking. We need his scoring. DJJ shouldn’t be outplaying green, but I agree he is only 22. Hopefully will show more throughout the season.
I still wonder how this team would have been if they got Demond bane instead of green
