  1. People just have to accept the reality that the Spurs aren’t gonna go from tanking to playoff caliber overnight. Wemby is not a 23 or 24 year old in a grown man’s body like Duncan and Robinson were

And honestly with Pop running Sochan at point it clearly tells me he’s content with tanking for another year

  2. “On my podcast, The Mismatch, Chris Vernon and I argued about it, and a day later, my boss Bill Simmons said on his podcast
that the Spurs should pull the plug on the Sochan experiment in favor of trading a first-round pick for T.J. McConnell.”

    Bill Simmons is smoking crack.

I did like the idea of trading for Jaden Ivey if he becomes available.

  3. This was an insightful, outstanding piece. Thanks for linking it. I don’t have anything to add, this is the way.

  4. This is just stuff from Victor and Jeremy, and yes they have their problems, but like it says, it’s been 8 games.

Our biggest problem is defense, and surpringly Jeremy and Victor are the only ones not completely dogshit, but still bad, despite the fact they’re the youngest people in the team. And don’t tell me it’s been 8 games because it hasn’t. It’s been a full season AND 8 games of seeing the same mistakes. I don’t know if we’re just not making adjustments or if we are making adjustments but the players are just inept that they can’t do it.

  5. I liked this article, my coworker asked me what I thought of last nights loss and I told him I didn’t see it as a loss. It was a game of four quarters of which we won two. Sure that didn’t translate to a win overall but damn, we have the same record as the Lakers people so back the F off.
