“8.5 million naysayers and people who don’t know the game of basketball” – LeBron
8.5 million nephews
this is the in season tournament of milestones
Ughh….mods
We are actually celebrating 3,721,328 subscribers rn, you’re too late
It’s actually incredible how fast this sub has grown, it must be one of the fastest growing sports subs since 2016 on the site. For reference, it’s significantly bigger than both r/soccer and r/nfl despite being smaller than them in 2015.
It still had less than 1,000,000 subs as late as 2018, and it’s more than doubled in 2 years (it only hit 4 million subs in 2021!)
All things considered, I think the sub is in a pretty good place
Wow, I remember when this place was less than like 5,000.
Insane.
8.5m celebration really feels like an in-season tournament trophy
