  1. Positives: Wolf, our road kits are still the best, tank commander Zad has requested a trade and we may draft top 3 for the first time ever.

Cons: Murray Edwards is our owner, literally everything else

  2. Ok Conroy, if you had any question, you don’t anymore… it’s time for a rebuild.

The kids are alright, we have a good solid core to work on. Dump Hanifin, Zad, Tanev, Lindholm and one of our goalies not named Wolf for as much as you can get in return.

  3. Bold of Zadorov to request a trade and then proceed to play one of his worst games of the season so far.

  4. Zadorov playing his worst game of the season a day after asking for a trade is certainly a strategy

  5. Honestly, this organization needs to get its shit together. For the last 4 years it’s been a shit show.

  6. Why not play a line with Lindholm and Ruzicka on it? They had great chemistry the games they played together last season.

  7. Noticed conroy wasn’t at the game, making moves in the shadows perhaps?

Wolf looked good, and our rookies (+coleman) continue to be our best players

  8. I am fully on board with the youth movement. I am so sick and tired these last couple years of watching this team just have such a low competitive drive. We’ve got some impressive young players who look hungry to win and play hard, while too many veterans check out at the slightest sign of adversity. I do not want our best goalie prospect in years to get infected with this obvious losers mentality going on in the Flames locker room.

  9. I’ve only had Wolf for a day and a half, but if anything happened to him, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.

  10. After the last few games where it looked like we were maybe turning a corner, this one was a set back across the board except for Wolf who got hung out to dry but still looked ready for NHL play.

Maybe it was just because this was a back-to-back, but I didn’t like the effort across the board.

  11. I remember at last year’s trade deadline when the media people asked Sutter what kind of move he’d make he said he’d only make a trade if it benefited the team in the long run rather than short term. He really knew huh

  12. Well I suppose there’s a silver lining to all of this, I’m very happy I didn’t pull the trigger on buying a Zadorov jersey a month ago.

  13. Request a trade

Imply it’s because of ice time

Immediately prove why you don’t deserve more ice time

    Nice game Z

  14. There are positives from that game. Not just Wolf if you look really hard and ignore the third period.

Anywho – what can one spend playoff tickets money on?

  15. 2021 me just called to laugh about me saying it literally couldn’t be worse than Geoff Ward. Strictly, it isn’t yet, (he was fired at 11-11-2) but it’s getting close

  16. Two shots in the third period; that’s horrendous second game of a back-to-back or not.

The first line’s a joke with no chemistry. Zadorov with an awful game after his trade request is an ugly ugly look. Lindholm playing like he knows he’s gone. It’s embarrassing.

At least the team is making Conroy’s life easier in picking a direction

  17. The words I heard 2nd hand is that there is a divide between the Swedes and the rest of the team in the locker room, and there is one other player making 7.5m that is a big ol diva off the ice.

There has to be some locker room issues here, it’s ok not to win but it’s not ok to just straight up not give a shit. Huska has to figure that part out fast.

  18. Remember when we were pissed Hubey only got 55pts last year?

We are gonna be ecstatic if he gets 55pts this year 😩

  19. Definitely different play tonight compared to the last few I’ve watched, especially last night against Toronto. Last night, they dominated the puck, went after it a lot harder, for the most part were ahead in shots or at least close to even. Tonight it’s like most weren’t trying, except Coleman, Zary, Pospisil, Kadri(somewhat, or better than the others). Plus I don’t recall any penalties against Toronto…maybe 1.

  20. Zeros fucking points from Connor Zary. Cost the team the game. Put him in the press box. Can’t believe we’re paying him $863,333. Ridiculous contract. Hadn’t even played a game yet.

  21. Could you imagine if Brad Trevling did evaluations for minor hockey. Those teams would be a fucking disaster. I think he’s shown he cannot evaluate players in depth. Huge track record of terrible signings. Guy just looks at Hockey DB then puts pen to paper on contracts.

  22. Going against the grain a little here, but I like zad a lot and I can forgive him if his heads not in it right now, we don’t know if publicizing his desire was what he wanted and I think his frustration is understandable. He had a bad game but that doesn’t erase the fact that he has been good in his role for us.

We need a rebuild with or without him so I hope he gets it together so we can get good value for him and find a resolution that is good for him and for us

  23. Well guys I think the 2 game win streak and Edmonton losing to the sharks was probably the highlight of the season

  24. I think he’s on the wrong line. Huberdeau and Bread Man are not playing like first liners. Put him with the kids.

  25. This team is bad. It has been bad all season. It has nothing to do with Zad asking for a trade. The sooner they blow it up the better
