I’m gonna be on edge until I find out whether significant is 3 weeks or 3 months.
Thank goodness, car hits are weird.. all depends on the tiniest angles between major injury and a few bruises
Well thats a relief that he was released already, not life threatening obviously and nothing needing emergency surgery.
Hope he recovers quickly, not even basketball related. Accidents can screw with your mental health too.

This whole situation reminded me of the time I got hit by a car 5 years ago when one plowed through a bunch of us students crossing a street like the dude was trying to commit a terroristic attack.
Philly is a failed city. They’ve straight up given up in trying to retain any semblance of order here.

This, to me, screams broken bone. They’re not going to release him that fast with any kind of head injury, and no surgery needed so it’s unlikely a “meat” injury.

Philly has a reckless driver problem. Every damn day i see cars rolling through stop signs, turning right at “no turn on red” lights. Switching lanes fast. It’s extremely dangerous and this is yet another result of it

Honestly I hope this has a positive effect on pedestrian safety in the city. Shit is lawless on the roads and it’s no secret.

That is great news. Pedestrian incidents are always scary, especially if the car is moving 30mph+
I don’t know the extent of his injuries but don’t assume because he was released that he didn’t have a fracture the likes of which could be ribs etc. Also contusions possible but agree no internal organ injuries or head trauma or would not be released.
The best news is he has been released and can begin healing with his family. Good hearing Morey went to the hospital…whole thing is fn unreal…Kelly is a strong mfr, coming back better than ever
Real shame but glad he’s ok. Been a big highlight of the season so far
