  1. I think this is dream scenario for the salaries swaps if Lavine can play up to his contract and we don’t give up too much with picks (2 firsts, 2 seconds? idk I’m not a GM)

Big salary relief for the Bulls since Bouknight’s last option isn’t picked up and Terry’s last year is a team option. For us, pick up extra money per year for Lavine, but what were we going to use that cap space for if not to sign someone like him.

Half-baked GMing right here. On the flip-side, we might get more value on our roster by adding Caruso or Coby White instead to fill the biggest needs here, and flip Hayward and Terry somewhere else

  2. I wouldn’t do this. A LaVine Melo backcourt is too bad on defense to win many games, and LaVine is on a *huge* contract.

  3. I find it hilarious when people say “no” to things like this.
We all complain that we never make and win playoffs but turn our noses up at far better players than we have and highly overrate our owns value. It’s hilarious.

That being said, the Bulls would say no.

  4. Id try Lavine + Coby white for back pg purposes. I understand everyone is scared about the defense, but it all comes down to schemes and effort. Melo is starting to hold his own or atleast showing flashes of it and if Lavine can atleast show effort we will be good. For the package make it Hayward+Rozier+bouk or nsj with couple of picks.
