Definitely some of these could have been prevented by the next-closest outfielder making more effort to hustle to back up the play.
[Right fielder loses the ball in the lights] "Bobby Witt is heading home! Add that to his list of accomplishments!" Fair enough, noted: "Routine liner to right, lost in the lights". What an accomplishment!!!
Oh no no no… That's not EVERY inside-the-park home runs. No way. MANY are missing.
MLB casually forgetting Springer's inside-the-park home run vs the Rays. If you're title is EVERY (in all caps) inside-the-park home run, make sure you include all of them. The MLB YouTube channel is a joke.
Also, there's a difference between little league home runs and inside-the-park home runs. An inside-the-park home run does not involve errors. Little league home runs do.
So no. McNeil, Azocar, De La Cruz did not hit inside the park home runs.
As for Tucker, the scorekeeper was drunk.
