2023 Week 10 PFF & GTP Combined Tiers

  1. Random tidbits from this week:

    – Recent trends: Offense doing better. Defense doing worse.
    – OL improving! Jenkins, Myers, and Walker have all moved up a tier in recent weeks.
    – A ton of the defensive players are right on the fringe of green/yellow, one way or the other.
    – It’s come up in a variety of discussions lately, but Wicks/Reed seem to be outperforming Doubs/Watson.
    – Love breaks into the green/good tier for the season as of this week.

And because I know people won’t read the graphic itself:

    – Yellow is totally fine! (I’m adding an addendum here.. when *everyone* is yellow that ain’t fine).
    – The stars are essentially a confidence/accuracy rating, one star means that the grade that PFF gave and the grade that GTP gave were within one standard deviation. AKA, both sources agree on how a player played. Over the course of the season in the “total” tier players can earn more stars by meeting snap count thresholds.

  2. Look at that, you needed fresh blood in the WR room for competition.

RB looks better now that the OL is playing better. Hopefully they can maintain the standard against stronger opponents.

  3. Love is in the green! Feeling quietly confident about his next couple of seasons as he continues to build a rapport with this young receiving corp.

    Why is Runyan still starting??
