What do you guys think of the Ayton experience so far?

good defender. great rebounder. runs the floor well. butterfingers. can’t dribble. needs more touches in the post so he can work- could easily be a 20ppg+ scorer on 55% if he got the touches
I like it. We’ve only begun to figure out that if we pass to him he will likely score. He’s a legit 20 pt 10 rebound guy with decent defense.
Feels like he can be so much more..
I like him. Excited for the future.
Ive really liked it.
He’s passionate which is overall a plus with some of our best guys Ant and Shaedon being cool types. Him and Scoot are hearts on their sleeve guys so Im hoping they really click on and off the court.
Saw him last game work hard to carve out space in the post and not get the ball in some cases, might get to a passionate person.
Overall pleased, pretty much a guaranteed 15/20 points and 10+ boards per game as long as he’s given the opportunity to have 15+ shots a game if distributed the ball a bit more.
My only wishes really is that works on his ball handling and kicking it out to 3pt opportunity instead of trying to force a heavily contested middy.
Other than that I like his offensive game because it seems it’ll transition better as he ages using jumpers around the paint.

Satisfied. Have no issue with his contact avoidance rep. Need the man healthy for us to have any chance of winning. Yes, there’s some butterfingers too but his rebounding, defense and shot making outweigh all that.
Him and Scoot were building some real chemistry before Scoot got hurt. Looking forward to more of that in second half of season.
I liked Nurk, but i think DA a much better player overall, and he’s a much better fit for the future.
DA has been a clear upgrade at the 5 and his attitude/effort have been great.
I understand completely why he didn’t live up to Phoenix’s expectations as a #1 overall pick, but we brought him here at a MUCH lower cost. I believe he has and will live up to OUR expectations.
Not to mention we rolled Camara into that trade, so we’ll continue to feel great about the overall transaction.
Going against the grain, I’ve actually been a bit disappointed he is a good player, but for 30+ million, I would’ve expected more than 13 and 12. Obviously, all his pick and roll partners are out with injuries right now, but He shouldn’t need a great playmaker setting him up on every possession, and he avoids contact like the plague. If Rob could stay healthy than I would’ve much rather had him as the starting center of the future.
I love him. Hes become one of my favorite players. Sweet touch around the rim, his middies are cash, super mobile on defense which is nice, rebounding has been excellent. I really enjoy watching him play, hes a big upgrade over Nurk.
He has potential.
I’m pretty settled on getting his jersey this year.
Part of me wishes we had Stotts still because Stotts would force feed Ayton all the way to the last wafer.
Surprisingly, he is one of the worst screen setters I have seen for a big, athletic 7 footer
He’s better, younger, and more expensive than Nurkic. He’s flawed in a bunch of different ways than Nurkic is/was.
I think my favorite part is how happy he seems to be here. Obviously we aren’t really a preferred destination for players but he seems so stoked all the time and I love that energy
