  1. This might be the best KAT has ever looked for the simple fact of him not doing any of the frustrating things. Like no hooking/push off on drives. No leg kick outs. No ticky tacky fouls on defense. No illegal screens. No complaining on no calls. Finally looked like a vet out there.

  2. The lane drive vs Looney shows how differently KAT gets officiated on his moves, were that a smaller defender he would have been called on an offensive foul for the way he raised his elbow, but because it was someone tall enough it only went to the defenders chest, not head. He loves that move and it works well in this situation.

  3. KAT has stepped up after a slow start and won us a few of the games on this streak.

He is playing with joy and a nice variety of plays.

  4. My favorite was 92-92, Gobert sets the screen, Looney switches out, KAT behind the back dribble, into a step-back middy fadeaway? Where did that come from? And he had great elevation too.

  5. This is exhibit A why Patrick Beverly (no more nickname for him, that’s too endearing) is off base with his comments. KAT navigated the skirmish appropriately, stayed in the game and lead his team to victory. Once he settles in this year knowing he’s going to have the advantage over most defenders, this team will continue to ascend. Great 4 game stretch, keep it rolling.

  6. Let’s be frank. KAT is on track to have his best season EVER.

He is finding his form on offense. Playing great defense and doing his part on the best defense in the league. Going harder than ever for boards. Not bitching at refs, and running back on defense. Doing the little things that affect winning instead of putting up big numbers in losses.

This team may be a playoff team without him, but our ceiling, and status as a real contender in the West, goes as far as KAT goes.
