  1. He was supposed to do the last game too wasn’t he? I thought it was weird to hear Wally

  2. Thank Christ. It sounds like he had an old beef with an assistant coach, so Leon stepped in and took the coaches side.

  3. >In 2014, Darren Erman, a current Knicks assistant, was fired by Jackson — then Golden State’s head coach — with Erman an assistant on his staff.

    >An ESPN report shortly after stated that Erman had taped Jackson and players unbeknownst to them.

  4. This is both good and bad news because I do NOT want more WallyGTP talking over these games. We can do so much better

  5. MSG continues to embarrass itself. They take the side of a well known snitch/gopher/rat assistant over a Knick legend.

    Pathetic

  6. Minor news – Jackson was going to be a massive liability anyway when it came to on air performance.

  7. I’d much rather Jackson, McNutt, hell, anybody over Wally cardboard Szerbiak.

He’s so damn boring and has little awareness. I do like him on the pre/post show but he’s just not a great color guy.

  8. LOL sometimes I see articles about the Knicks, and it blows my mind that it’s not The Onion.

  9. Not even trying to be facetious—this is Leon’s 2nd biggest W next to signing Brunson. Wally is trash but obviously not the longterm answer. Jackson is so bad I watch his games on mute, and he would’ve been THE guy once Clyde dips for good. Thank god for this weird beef

  10. We’re always so damn messy with these random beefs, but I’m not gonna complain about this one.

  11. I’ve thoroughly been impressed by the job Leon’s been doing and this solidifies that I’m not questioning him. Not every move has been perfect but he gets an A- grade from me. Send Fournier away and get a superstar back and we talking A+
