  1. “A little extra bulk bolstered the Nuggets’ bench in Tuesday’s In-Season Tournament win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

After Jamal Murray’s hamstring strain moved Reggie Jackson from back-up point guard to starter, coach Michael Malone elevated Collin Gillespie into the rotation for the first few games. That changed Wednesday, as Malone gave fellow rookie Jalen Pickett the first meaningful minutes of his career.

The decision was made after Sunday’s 107-104 loss to Houston when Gillespie scored six of Denver’s eight points off the bench.”

  2. This young bench has some growing to do, but it’s looking good so far. It’s the luxury you have with five outstanding starters.

  3. Pickett looked like he belonged. Not the best the 2nd half but it was his first game after all.

I think the rotation should be Reggie first sub out for Pickett, and then Reggie replaces Pickett when Jokic subs out. Kinda what they do with Jamal.

Pickett is a better fit with the starters than Colin and this would allow the bench to immediately get Reggie back when Jokic leaves the game.
