Playing a role similar to Shumpert in his Cleveland days. Arguably the best value pickup in the entire league
The way he is playing, his age (only 26), his demeanor plus how seamless he fits into what we need vs what he can do…the literally only negative thing about him from a team standpoint is ironically his contract lol
As a player, at this juncture, he’s an excellent fit for the Mavs. Took it to the Baja multiple times tonight.

I couldn’t believe Kidd was starting this guy game 1. Turns out he was right
