Having Wolf, Zary, Corronato and Popsicle dulls the pain a bit. Future could be bright.
Good. This should’ve happened in 2022 when Johnny and Chucky decided they wanted out but better late than never. Looking forward to seeing Conroy truly put his stamp on this team
Conny has been trying to move guys since the draft.
I think he’s getting lowballed, and he’s going to be stuck in between a rock and a hard place come the deadline as the other GMs wait him out knowing the situation he’s in.
Could be a rough 3-5 years ahead depending how things pan out. However, I do believe we have some good young talent, and we can’t shy away from giving those guys playing time and experience. I’m ok with Huberdeau and Kadri staying on as the vets. Lindholm will be the biggest trade piece before the deadline with a strong return.
If they’re 10 pts out of the playoff hunt halfway through the season, moving vets for assets should be the strategy. Time to move on from the Treliving Era.

I think we’re all ready for this. While it’s sad to see some of these guys move on, I think it’s exciting to look forward into the future, can’t get much lower from here… right?
Looking forward to some big splashes. Can’t save them all for the deadline or you’ll be left with pending UFA players untraded. Gotta move two or three of them pre deadline imo.
The values dropping for several players wanting the Star paycheque. Better produce or $8 M x 5 goes to $5 x 3.
