When I hear these reports I always assume that the coaching staff made the decision but they don’t want to make it look like a demotion.
I love Westbrook tho and I hope it works out
Yeah it was definitely WB of all people who asked to come off the bench, in unrelated news, I have some prime piece of land on the moon for sale
I like that it’s just totally inconceivable to this sub that someone could actually reflect and change over time lol. Russ seems like a good guy and a team player who’s been humbled over the past few years, I don’t think there’s anything fantastical about the notion that he could have asked to come off the bench
Man i’d take Russ over harden any day of the week.

They really should’ve kept one of Batum or Roco just for the size. Powell should’ve been gone.
Kawhi is being abused at the 4. And sometimes 5 when they go small. Mann ain’t gonna solve this issue.

The way he’s acted with the clippers has been extremely gracious. He has definitely matured and has bought in
My respect for Russ only continues to grow
what a clusterf. When Houston is the better team you know you in deep.
Mann always should have been a starter, he’s such a good, low maintenance connective piece. The Harden trade was a desperate mistake.
The Clippers certainly won’t be the Western team playing against Westbrook on Miami in the Finals this season

I said i gotta come off the bench
Reported like it’s damage control. The guy is completely washed up and is ruining their offense. When he’s on the floor, someone else automatically gets doubled, defenses don’t respect him.
He isn’t really choosing this, he is kind of required to at this stage of his career.
Russ coming off the bench is not it man. They need his pace. What they don’t need is Harden.
Russ was playing so well in his role sucks that he has to be demoted now
Just when it looked like he was in a great place, it’s like he is back on the Lakers again.
“Help accelerate the winning process” is a great term.
Ive been wondering if the real solution is to bring Harden off the bench that won’t happen. Harden is as averse to change as we thought Westbrook was a couple years ago
