I can’t figure out why Mermis would be on waivers. They’re in Sweden, he’s on the trip, he’s been playing well. Why?
Have Joe or Michael chimed in on this? Really curious to hear the reasoning.
My suspicion would be Goose &/or Freddie coming off LTIR & the team needing to trim payroll to be cap compliant again. Regardless, it sucks because Dakota was filling in pretty well.
Wait is this Waivers waivers or sent to Iowa waivers?
I am choosing to believe they made a spelling mistake and Mermis should spell Merrill.
