[Kay Adams]- Devin is correct

Whoever the quarterback is next year, we need to have some stability at the coordinator’s position. He Is right, it is tough to develop a quarterback when we’re constantly changing offensive coordinators every other year

  1. That’s true, but stability doesn’t matter if you have a terrible coordinator. It would be one thing if he was just ok, but Getsy is actively bad at his job. His playcalling is a joke, and players regularly look confused about where to go on plays, and it’s not just Fields. Most of these guys are in year two with Getsy and they look lost on the field, that’s on him. He’s got to go.

I think the stability question is why so many of the top offenses have the head coach calling plays, that way losing coordinators isn’t as damaging. My hope is that we fire all the coaches, and hire Waldron/Johnson/Slowik, and let them handle the offense long term, like Shanahan/McVay/McDaniel/etc.

  2. If a surgeon botches your surgery do you let him do the surgery to fix it to maintain consistency?

  3. Devin Hester and Kay Adams? When did I go to heaven? A collaboration I never considered but now I need it.

  4. If Fields goes, the entire coaching staff should go. It’s time to break this dumb cycle the Bears have been on. The penalty stats for the Bears are at the bottom of the league. That’s not a sign of a well coached team.
