  1. There are people on this sub that are giving up on Nakobe. If you’re one of them remember the following.

    He’s 22.

    He has started 1 game with the plan to play the majority of downs (@NE)

    He has played 225 total defensive snaps. 49 of them as a starter.

    The coaching staff were confident that he could lead and call plays for a superbowl contender.

    The injury he got was due to someone crushing his foot week 1, its not a bum hamstring.

    Brandon Graham was a bust for his first 3 years.

  2. As expected. He’s probably done for the year. Here’s hoping he takes this time to rest up and study hard. I still believe he can turn the narrative around and become a great starting caliber LB.

  4. Nakobe reminds me of a future Hall of Famer…….Brandon Graham. Everyone wrote him off as being a bust back in the day, but look at BG now!

  5. Dean can’t cover against pass plays. He goes the wrong way half time and is slow to respond in any case.

  6. Worth the roster spot until his contract expires. Stop comparing him to BG. BG was first round pedigree that took time to develop sure, but was also healthy.

    Dean dropped, is injured more often than healthy, and has been cheeks when he’s played.

    Unless his play changes next year, cut the cord.

  7. He didn’t even look good when he played. He’s had two training camps and there was never a day where you heard he had an amazing day or anything super promising. Size concerns actually seem valid. Morrow and Cunningham aren’t even highly regarded players and yet they’re succeeding because they’re playing on one of the most lb friendly teams in the league (Cox, Carter, Davis being monsters and making it easy for the lb to flow by clogging their gaps).

    Yea I’m being negative because I’m disappointed. Yea I want him to succeed. Yea I’d love to be wrong. Saw mid play coming a mile away though.

  8. Guy hasn’t made a single play in two years. He’s undersized, can’t cover and always hurt. He’s got one more training camp then cut.
