Nevada is the 49th least educated state in the country.
Yet, they decided the best use of this money is towards a stupid baseball stadium. Over schools.
I really don’t get it. This upsets me.
But but but John Fisher donates a lot to charter schools and cares about education. Oh wait he’s a fucking hypocrite.
We are all A’s fans here and obviously we want this to succeed to keep our team from relocating but also this is Fucked up. I hold a special place in my heart for teachers, and Nevada Teachers were asking for pay raises. Funding for school necessities. Nevada told them No because Nevada “doesn’t have the money.” But suddenly $380 Million dollars pop up for a Cheapskate Bitch ass Punk of a Billionaire named John Fisher to bring MLB to Vegas.
I feel for Nevada Teachers. I already inquired about volunteering, and I would happily fly out to Nevada to help get those signatures. Let’s get this to a Referendum
