Poole did everything posible so we won’t win this game a true tank leader
All I’m saying is… at least Johnny is aware of his limitations to the point that he’ll avoid taking heinously bad shots. I feel like that alone is a valuable skill. If you’re going to exercise his team option and give him DNPs, at least send him to the G-League. I don’t understand what the point of this is.

I think the one thing we can all agree on is that Poole is having a spectacularly shitty season and this game was one of the biggest stinkers of them all.
Poole used 18 possessions to score 8 points. A random replacement level guard from the g league would be an improvement at this point

Deni is our most consistent player
Bilal is our most exciting young player, and the first priority in any future planning.
I really don’t care about anyone else on this team. No one else worth the fan investment or with any real trade value other than maybe Gafford, Kispert.
It’s easy to feel like the sky is falling when you’re in the thick of it and watching every game as intently as the passionate fans in this sub will do, but zooming out, this is really all fine. Maybe 4 of the guys on this team will be here in 2027, and we’re en route to a top 3-5 pick for each of the next few seasons.
I’m still deciding on this but if the knicks decide not to pay Quickley, we might have to throw the bag at him.
