This is my goal the rest of the season. Look tough, be the team no one wants to play at the tail end of the season (at least defensively) and lose. Will that happen? Doubt it. But one can dream
If this is real (which I wouldn’t be surprised it is) Mara is an absolute bumbaclot and we need to either 1. not give this organization a penny of our hard-earned money or 2. be loud enough for Tisch to hear us and make him fly all the way back to Metlife from his Multi-million Beverly Hills mansion and drill some sense into this guys head.
They paid Jones more because it was the best option at the time to try to keep us competitive moving forward vs actually believing he was a franchise quarterback. Now that we know he’s injury-prone and trash, and we’re in contention for the 1st overall pick, the organization’s focus should be towards rebuilding this offense starting at nailing the quarterback pick.
You literally cannot sell the on-field product sticking with a guy who was at his very best average for the sixth year. Fans will regain some excitement and hope when you bring a new guy for the most important position of the sport.
