His contract is horrible
If Friedman wasn’t going to go longer than 5 years for Harper why would he take on Trouts contract? You would have both Trout & Betts making around 70m combined the last several years of both of their contracts in there late 30’s. I could easily see Trout having to be a DH and honestly years from now we have no idea what Betts body will be like.
lol angels would have to pay like half the contract for that to make any sense for the dodgers

Look if the Angels get convinced to eat a bunch of Trout’s salary *and then* trade him to their crosstown rival *and then* we sign Ohtani, you can catch me at the Church of Andrew Friedman every Sunday because that would be the biggest miracle since biblical times no exaggeration
Ohtani I can see but Angels trading Trout to the Dodgers is too risky for the Angels and might be for the Dodgers as well.
Anaheim would take a chunk of it. People saying its bad uhh do you kno who Mike Trout is ? One of the best players of all time granted hes been injured. But you make the move for Trout everytime
