Word on the streets is that this mans wee wee is tiny and smells like doritos
I hate being the guy who blames officiating so I’m gonna get this quick rant off my chest and leave it at that.
The defense really went to shit after Dre was ejected. He was making his shots, being pesky on defense, and generally playing smart. He disagreed with a BULLSHIT call and got tossed.
One tech? Okay fine. A double tech? You are actively making the decision to *heavily* influence the outcome of a game because your ego is fragile and you cannot handle someone trying to hold you accountable for a call. Referees are already shielded from so much criticism by the league. If we are going to provide so many protections for them by not making them answer in press conferences or anything of that nature, then they should not have the power to toss players for words. Plain and simple.
This is basketball. The absence of a single player in any given game can drastically impact how the game turns out for either team, arguably more so than any other sport. Giving referees the power to easily toss them gives them way too much power to influence a game. It’s not just a problem with the Hawks too. That Jaren Jackson ejection last week was atrocious. The technical foul on Ant for his dunk celebration was bad. PEOPLE DO NOT PAY MONEY TO WATCH YOU!!!! Take your ego down a notch.

Wish the Hawks had their review still on that one. Imagine if the call gets overturned but Dre has been ejected.
