Smart 4-6 week injury is pretty typical every year. He’ll bounce back as usual

When Marcus cried on the floor at the end of a game loss that was like, the 6th consecutive loss or something, my heart broke for him. Even after the shock of the trade, just the mental rollercoaster of going from a top team to a team that can’t get it together, and having to play a starring role in shouldering that boulder that won’t go uphill.
Now to add an injury. I seriously hope he has an outlet outside the court to keep his head up.

Sad to hear it, but relieved we moved on. Smart gives up his body so much that he was already falling apart here. Jrue just plays solid, which will help him be healthy for playoffs.
I remember Kobe talking about never taking charges for the sake of his body. But if Smart didn’t give up his body, what is his value?
Similar to Timelord. If he isn’t jumping around, what is his value. At least if KP is worn down at the end of the season, he can still do post moves and take 3s. And how many of KPs blocks require maximum effort jumping?
