Every article seems to think it’s the cubs or dodgers. Last I saw Texas was the front runners with the dodgers.

I’ve started to get excited about the idea of him coming. Keep getting this feeling the front office will still be high and make it happen. Ohtani said “I have great respect for the rangers because they were the first serious organization to look into me”. Take that how you will but I didn’t care if he came but now I’m kind of wanting it.

  1. Either he’s going to an NL team or he’s a Texas Ranger. Whichever happens, it’s not ACTUALLY happening for a few weeks at minimum.

  2. I’m not getting excited about it as my instincts are telling me Dodgers for Ohtani …

And my stubborn self doesn’t like change, I like the team we have now. (I see the fault in that logic) He would bring a lot of change and a different kind of attention to our team.

  3. Shohei is a dodger man. They’re not gonna pay Montgomery the extra 50m he earned from how he pitched in the postseason. That’s the bad news

Here’s the good news. Full year of evan Carter. Degrom back in august. Wyatt Langford will be ready by opening day, and that’s mike trout jr., right handed Corey Seager.

The team that just won the World Series is adding the best hitting prospect in baseball, and the best pitcher on the planet, and a full season of the savior evan Carter. We’re gonna be okay. We were a year ahead of schedule but we went ahead and won the whole thing anyway

  4. As much fun as it would be to have him on the team, I definitely think he’s going to end up with the Dodgers. It just makes sense.

I’ll be more happy if we get Monty back and sign Hader.
