  1. The fact that the GM and management of the CBJ still have jobs is some kind of miracle. JD and Jarmo both need to go since they are a team. Making zero moves after the draft on an offensively anemic team is inexcusable. It's such a toxic atmosphere there now. Laine is one of the laziest players that I have ever witnessed, Gaudreau is uninspired, to say the least, 90% of the team are puck watchers and slow to react, the D-scheme is passive and doesn't work, etc.. Nothing spells defensive success like pairing Boqvist with Werenski (who is just terrible recently). What a dumpster fire this organization is right now. Time to clean house…which they won't do.

  2. Torts doesn't get enough credit. Just the kind of coach the Blue Jackets need right now. If only Babcock hadn't reverted to his old self immediately.

  3. The Flyers have actually been really good this year. They're almost 1/4 of the way through the season. 10 of their 18 games have been against current playoff teams. They're 1-4 in one goal games. Their power play has been useless. This isn't a fluke. They have won 5 in a row for the first time since the last time they were good. This is sustainable.

  4. Young team learning to play the right way. Obviously we lack some talent, but I can't ask for much more than they're giving. Smart hockey is good hockey.

  5. They are worth watching….might be worth the price of admission soon as well….best part is this….I don't have to be ashamed
to be seen wearing one of my flyers jerseys anymore. I have 7 or 8 so a nice piece of my wardrobe has been liberated from my
    closet……

  6. The CBJ doesnt look like NHL team, they blame goalies very often, but you can put any goalie in this team, and the outcome will be the same. So many mistakes from players, lack of motivation, looks pretty sad to watch this team.

  7. An exciting team that is playing well, no, superbly … also, the announcing team of the Flyers, Jim Jackson and Brian Boucher, are spot on with their commentary. Amazing ability to describe play as it happens so effectively. Bravo! It makes the watching of these impressive games all the more enjoyable.
