  1. People are gonna meme this because he gave up so many home runs last year but I don’t mind it if it’s an end of the rotation move

  2. This is a hilarious signing. I don’t like it from a baseball perspective, but you can’t deny that it’s funny.

  3. I got the notification from ESPN and just burst out laughing. No idea how this will turn out, but man is it a funny first signing.

  4. Can we get a photo shop of how he’ll look in a Cardinals jersey? I think that will make it more real….

  5. I’ve been a Cardinals fan since birth and my dad was before me. He saw Musial play. I swear to Christ if Mo clowns us again this offseason, I will seriously consider being angry.

  6. Jeff Luhnow has been out of the organization for over a decade but Mozeliak is still finding ways to cheat off his test.

  7. Love Lance Lynn. I don’t know if he has it anymore though.

This signing feels a few years too late.

  8. I’ma be honest, of all the names on the free agent list, this was the name I was least excited about.

Had a bad last year. Looked better when he went to the Dodgers but still not great. Hopefully he gets back on track because his numbers other years are good.

  9. Optimistic outlook is that he’s here to be our innings eater. Doomer outlook is that the FO foolishly believes he’ll return to form and think he’ll be top of the rotation

  10. $10 Million for a pitcher that was almost a win below replacement level last year!? Dakota Hudson or Jake Woodford could do that for less money. Lynn is 36 – he’s probably not getting any better.

  11. Who was his market? The dude was so bad last year. Who was gonna offer him more than like 6 or 7 million? Who were the Cards bidding against?

This signing is absolutely terrible. It’s gonna make Arrieta with the cubs in 2021 look like an ace.
