The guy can’t pitch because of a busted UCL but you want him throwing from CF? Right…
This is such a stupid article. Ohtani isn’t going to mess up his pitch rehab by playing CF. I could see him playing a position in ‘25, but certainly not 24.
I understand and respect the role of anonymous sources, and the good they can do in the reporting sector.
Whichever executive thinks Ohtani can play centerfield needs to be identified immediately.
This really decreases the reliability of bleachers report
He’d be better off at 1st if he’s gonna play a position.
But in reality no GM in their right mind is going to put him in the field to play a position as long as he’s pitching.

nah, this exec is way off base. ohtani’s focus should be on pitching and hitting, not messing around in centerfield. this is just a distraction.
