Colts release Shaquille Leonard in 6th season with club

I know many of y’all are okay with this team losing and getting a top pick in this upcoming draft. but i still believe with a strong second half that that team can still compete for the 7th seed and make the playoffs!

If we can get him on a reasonable deal, would you want to go after Leonard??

  1. this is all assuming that he would be able to stay healthy of course! and i’m saying that he’d probably be good depth, i don’t expect him to be an elite starter for us anymore

  2. He’s lost what made him elite which was his speed and athleticism. For a vet’s min, sure he’d be worth a flier but don’t expect anything close to his All Pro past.

  3. Awkward spot. He isn’t a starting caliber LB anymore but also doesn’t want to accept a diminished role. He hasn’t been good since his back injury. Sucks to see injuries cut a potential HOF career short. He’ll probably gauge the market after he clears the waivers but I don’t think he’s going to like the answer. Wouldn’t blame him if he retires.

  4. That’s honestly crazy. I remmeber him being in the convo for best LB in the league just a. couple of years ago
