>An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) taken today at Mayo Clinic by Dr. Jeff Payne on McDaniels confirmed a Grade 1 right lateral ankle sprain. His return to play timeline is 2-3 weeks and he will be re-evaluated in one week.

Sucks for sure, but honestly pretty good news overall it seems like
Kind of dodged a bullet it feels like, it looked really nasty
still feeling significantly less confident about the upcoming fixtures. But if the Wolves actually hold the fort, hoooooo boy
Every NBA team goes through this. The fact that it’s weeks and not months is huge.
Grade 1 is huge it looked alot worse on replay than i woulda guessed
Honestly, this seemed better than hoped for based on the initial look/reporting.
I was bracing for reevaluated in 2 or 3 weeks, so this isn’t too bad.
If their timeline holds, he’ll probably miss 7-10 games. He is likely to miss the in-season tournament in totality if he is out the full 3 weeks (but would be back for a semifinal or final match if it’s only 2 weeks).
