  1. Score: 4.5 – I’m glad Jack is back and I’m glad Nico is skating again. But there’s still work they have to do such as fixing defense. It seems like things may be going in the right direction, although that loss to the rangers sucks.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. After the last decade, a winning record still feels good. I’m thankful for how much fun they are to watch. Sure they disappoint some nights, but it isn’t all disappointment anymore. LGD!

  3. Losing to the Rags is maximum pain. The imminent Return of the King makes all pain go away. Smack dab in the middle is correct.

  4. I am a doomer, so take my rating with a grain of salt.

    Score: 6.5

    Reason:

Generally, I feel like we’re at a pivotal point of our season. This week and next week, to me, will determine the tone for the rest of the season.

Based on the performances to date, I’m quite nervous about which way we’re going to fall.

    1. Goaltending & Defense still hasn’t found it’s groove.
    2. We have played just over 100 minutes of great, full effort hockey.
    3. We are not a full healthy squad, so we’re calling up unproven/poor chemistry players
    4. Record is not where most pro-analysts would have guessed.
    5. We sit low across all conferences and divisions.

Note: This is prior to tonight’s game. If we see a truly dominating performance I could be convinced to move to a 5-5.5.
